Preparing ISOFIX
1. Clip the two insertion guides* 1 to the
two ISOFIX fastening points 28 of the
vehicle seat (between seat and back-
rest). The cutout must point upwards.
* The insertion guides make it easier to fit the child
seat with ISOFIX and avoid damage to the seat
cover. They should be removed when not in use
and kept in a safe place. In vehicles with folding
backrests, the insertion guides must be removed
before folding down the backrest.
Any malfunctions are usually caused by dirt on
the insertion guides and on the hooks. This
problem can be solved by cleaning these points.
2. Using the green handle 2, pull the two
connectors 3 as far as they will go.
3. On both sides of the seat squeeze the
green locking button 5 and the red re-
lease button 6 together and remove
the connector protection 33.

4. Press the green securing knob 5 and
the red release button 6 on both
ISOFIX locking latches 3 towards each
other.
Make sure that both hooks of the
ISOFIX locking latch 4 are open and
operational.
5. Position the two connectors 3 directly
in front of the two insertion guides 1.
