2. Clip the connector protection* 33
onto the connectors 3.
3. Pull the belt out and route it through
the belt guides 7.

4. Engage the buckle tongue in the buckle
housing.
5. Then, on the side opposite the vehicle
seat belt buckle, swivel the clamping
lever 8 down and insert the diagonal
belt in the belt lock-off 9.
6. Apply your body weight to the child
seat (kneel on the seat). At the same
time pull the diagonal belt strongly to
tighten (hold tension) and swivel the
clamping lever 8 upwards until it en-
gages.
7. To re-tension pull the diagonal belt
whilst the lock-off is closed.
* The connector protection 33 protects the
ISOFIX connectors 3 when they are not
used. Additionally it prevents the vehicle
seat from damage when the child seat is
fixed with the lap-shoulder belt.
