Safety information
The espresso maker complies with the European standard EN 13248:2002
In your own interest, observe all the safety information to prevent accidents or
malfunctions. Read all the instructions before using the espresso maker for the
first time.
Keep children away from the espresso maker while it is in use. Make sure the
steam exits on the side facing away from you.
Only use the espresso maker for the intended purpose. Before heating it, make sure
the espresso maker is closed tightly. Do not screw the espresso maker apart until
you have removed it from the heat source and it has completely cooled down.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handles on the jug and lid.
Never heat the espresso maker without water in the lower part. If you fill wa-
ter directly into the lower part, you must make sure the water level is below the
safety valve. Only use original spare parts from the manufacturer.
You must never place the reduction sieve on the ground coffee in the funnel
insert.

Instructions pour les plaques à induction
Attention. L'induction est une source de chaleur très rapide. Ne faites surtout pas
chauffer la cafetière sans contenu car elle se retrouverait endommagée à cause
de la surchauffe. Si le feu est très fort, un bourdonnement peut se faire entendre.
Ce bruit est d'origine technique et n'indique en aucun cas un défaut de votre table
de cuisson ou de votre ustensile de cuisine.
Instructions pour les cuisinières à gaz
Veillez à ce que les flammes du gaz ne jaillissent pas sur les côtés de la cafetière
à expresso.
