Before use
1.2 Product information
Our innovative glass ceramic hob stands for time saving
through optimally used energy.
This results from the novel heating elements as well as the
optimal heat utilisation including the residual heat.
The user-friendly control panel (touch panel), including the digi-
tal displays of the respective cooking zones, stands for optimal
ease of use.
2. Before use
• Read this guide, taking special note of the
Safety instuctions section.
• Remove any protective film that may still be on your
ceramic hob.
Note: When the hob is used for the first time, production residues
may cause an odour and even slight smoke to develop.
This is normal and harmless.
Keep the room well ventilated until these have disappeared (max. 30 min.).
2.1 Notes on using the touch controls
• The controls respond to touch,
so you don't need to apply any pressure.
• Use the ball of your finger, not its tip.
• You will hear a beep each time a touch is registered.
• Make sure that the controls are always clean and dry.
Even a thin film of water can make them difficult or
impossible to operate.
• Avoid placing objects on the control panel, dragging
anything over it or wiping it. This may cause the hob
to switch on or off unintentionally.
