PUMP MEDIUM
For the proper operation of GHNbasic II pumps, it is necessary to ensure a medium that is clean water or a mixture of clean
water and antifreeze agent suitable for the central heating system. The water must comply with the water quality standard VDI
2035.
The use of a water-glycol mixture with a glycol content of up to 50% is allowed. When using glycol mixtures, the data on
transportation should be adjusted according to the higher viscosity. Only use glycol that has corrosion protection and follow the
manufacturer's instructions.
The medium must be free from aggressive or explosive additives, mineral oil impurities, and solid or fibrous particles. The
pumps must not be used for pumping flammable or explosive media or in an explosive atmosphere.
The SANbasic II pump is designed exclusively for pumping sanitary water.
For the use of other media, approval from IMP Pumps is required.
3.3
TEMPERATURES AND AMBIENT HUMIDITY
Media temperature:
GHNbasic II from -10 °C to +120 °C
•
SANbasic II from +2 °C to +65 °C (short-term up to +80 °C for system disinfection)
•
Maximum ambient temperature +40 °C.
•
Operation outside recommended conditions may shorten pump lifetime and void the warranty.
