11 Preparing the camera

You must first prepare the camera before mounting it.
It is recommended that you first put the camera into operation and only mount it
when it is functioning properly.
Important:
Charge the camera using a USB power adapter before putting it into operation!

11.1 Removing the camera cover

You can easily remove the rubber cover on the underside.
Remove the rubber cover from the connection and control panel (H).
Be careful not to remove the cover completely, as it is fixed to the camera.

11.2 Charging the camera for the first time

Connect the USB Type-C
camera socket (L).
Connect the USB Type-A plug to a USB power adapter (5 V/DC, min. 2 A).
Plug the USB power adapter into a standard mains socket connected to the
public grid.
The camera should start charging automatically. You do not need to turn the
camera on for it to start charging.
The first time you charge the camera, leave it to charge for at least 4 hours.

11.3 Inserting the memory card

If you wish to record with the camera, you will need a microSD card.
Insert it before you continue with the operation. The camera supports microSD/
SDHC memory cards up to 64 GB.
