15 Troubleshooting

The Wi-Fi solar battery-powered camera set is built using the latest technology and
is safe to use. During operation, you may experience some problems and malfunc-
tions. Therefore, observe the following information on how to eliminate possible
malfunctions.
Network configuration error
Check that the camera is configured.

Make sure that your smartphone and camera are within range of your Wi-Fi

router and that the signal is strong.
Only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks are supported, but not 5 GHz.

Check that the Wi-Fi name and password are correct.

Check your router network settings.

If you have changed the Wi-Fi password, please try resetting the unit and re-

configuring the network.
The battery discharges too quickly
The device is powered only by a rechargeable battery, and the battery life de-

pends on whether the person recognition function is enabled or not. It is, there-
fore, recommended to disable this function or turn down the unit sensitivity when
using the camera in a crowded place.
Whistling/feedback noise from the smartphone/camera speaker
The microphone/speaker of your smartphone is too close to the camera (e.g.

during a function test). Keep a greater distance when testing.
No video files are saved
Make sure a microSD card is inserted before using the camera.

Enable the motion detection function of the camera.

Check that the recording function is enabled.

Check the status of the SD card in the app. If it is not normal, try formatting the

SD card.
