General safety instructions for power tools
WARNING! Read all safety directions and instructions. Omis-
sions in the compliance with safety directions and instructions
can cause electrical shock, fire and/or severe injuries.
Retain all safety directions and instructions for future use. The term "Pow-
er Tools" used in the safety instructions refers to mains-operated power
tools (with power cord) and to battery-operated power tools (without
power cord).
1) Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite
accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in
the presence of flammable Iiquids, gases or dust. Power tools create
sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
2) Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any
way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power
tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of elec-
tric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as
pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk
of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering
a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or un-
plugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges
or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of
electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suit-
able for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces
the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a
residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduc-
es the risk of electric shock.
3) Personal safety

a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when oper-
ating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention

b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection.

Yleiset turvaohjeet: Sähköllä käyvät
VAROITUS! Lue kaikki turvallisuusohjeet ja neuvot. Turvallisuu-

aiheuttaa tulipalon ja/tai vaarallisia vammoja.
Pidä turvallisuusohjeet ja neuvot hyvin tallessa tulevaisuuden varalle.
Turvallisuusohjeissa käytetty termi „ Sähkötyökalu" tarkoittaa sähköisesti
toimivia työkaluja (verkkokaapelilla) ja akulla toimivia työkaluja (ilman
verkkokaapelia).
1) Työpaikan turvallisuus:
a) Pidä työpaikka puhtaana ja huolehdi riittävästä valaistuksesta. Epä-
puhtaus ja huono valaistus työpaikalla voivat johtaa loukkaantumisiin.
b) Älä työskentele sähkölaitteella räjähdysvaarallisella alueella, jossa
on helposti syttyviä nesteitä, kaasuja tai pölyä. Sähköllä käyvät
työkalut kehittävät kipinöintiä, joka voi sytyttää pölyn tai höyryt.
c) Älä anna pienten lasten tai asiattomien henkilöiden olla työpaikalla
sähkölaitteella työskennellessä. Häiritseminen voi aiheuttaa sen, että

2) Turvallisuus:

charge in metal parts of the device and result in an electric shock.
5) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using
only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the
power tool is maintained.
6) Specific safety instructions for batteries
a) Only used batteries intended for the device (alkaline LRA 4 x 1.5
AA). The use of other batteries may result in injuries and a fire haz-
ard. Do not use rechargeable batteries in order to guarantee optimal
performance.
b) Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-) when inserting the batteries.
Always replace the entire set of batteries. Do not use batteries of
different systems, brands or types at the same time. There is a risk of
a short circuit.
c) Do not expose batteries to direct solar radiation for long periods and
do not place them on radiators. The batteries may overheat and there
is a risk of explosion.
d) Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries and do not short circuit
them. Risk of explosion!
e) Do not open the batteries and avoid mechanical damage. There is a
risk of a short circuit and it may leak fluid. Remove leaking batteries
and its residues with gloves. If electrolytic fluid does splash on to
hands or clothes, wash it off thoroughly. Furthermore, seek medical
assistance in case of complaints.
f) Keep batteries away from paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or
other small metal objects that could cause a bridging of the contacts.
A short circuit between battery contacts can result in burns or a fire.
g) Do not expose the batteries to moisture and only use the batteries in
dry rooms. There is a risk of a short circuit.
h) Do not throw batteries into domestic waste, fire (risk of explosion)
or into the water. Damaged batteries can harm the environment and
your health if poisonous fumes or liquids escape.
i) Keep batteries away from children. Risk of injury!
j) Observe the instructions on the batteries and associated packaging.

f) Pidä paperiliittimet, kolikot, avaimet, naulat, ruuvit ja muut sellaiset
pienet metalliesineet, jotka voivat aiheuttaa kontaktipintojen oikosu-
lun, poissa paristojen lähettyviltä. Paristojen kontaktipintojen välille
syntyvä oikosulku voi aiheuttaa palovammoja tai tulipalon.
g) Älä altista paristoa kosteudelle ja käytä paristoja vain kuivissa tilois-
sa. On olemassa oikosulun vaara.
h) Älä heitä paristoja kotitalousjätteen sekaan, tuleen (räjähdysvaara)

Inserting/replacing bits
1. Insert the desired bit (7) into the bit holder (1). The bit is
held firmly by the magnetic holder.
2. To remove it, remove the bit (7) from the bit holder (1).
Switching on/off
Release switch lock: Pull the switch lock (2):

By keeping the switch lock pressed down the device can be used
as a conventional screwdriver without drive.
Replace batteries
1. Press both unlock keys (4) at the same time and pull them
out of the battery holder (5).
2. If needed, remove the used batteries (5a) and insert the new
batteries into the battery holder (5). Pay attention to battery
polarity (+/-) (see drawing in the battery holder).
3. Reinsert the battery holder into the device, it locks into place
audibly. Only one position is possible. If a resistance is felt
when inserting the batteries, turn the battery holder.
Cleaning/Maintenance
Do not spray the appliance with water and do not immerse it in
water. Risk of injury due to electric shock.
• Keep the housing and handles of the device clean. To do so, use a
damp cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents. This could
damage the machine irreparably.
• The device is maintenance free.
Storage
• Store the appliance in a dry place well out of reach of children.
• Always store batteries in a dry and cool place.
• Remove batteries if device is not in use for a longer period.
Disposal/Enviromental Protection
• Take the batteries out of the device and recycle the device, batteries,
accessories and packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.
• Hand the device to a recycling plant.
• Dispose of the batteries according to local standards. Hand in the bat-
teries at a used battery collection point where they are recycled in an
environmentally friendly manner. For more information, please contact
your local waste management provider or our service centre.

This equipment is provided with a 3-year guarantee from the date of purchase.
If a material or manufacturing defect occurs within three years of the date
of purchase of this product, we will repair or replace – at our choice –
the product for you free of charge. This guarantee requires the defective
equipment and proof of purchase to be presented within the three-year
period with a brief written description of what constitutes the defect and
when it occurred. If the defect is covered by our guarantee, you will
receive either the repaired product or a new product. No new guarantee
period begins on repair or replacement of the product.
The guarantee applies for all material and manufacturing defects. This gu-
arantee does not extend to cover product parts that are subject to normal
wear and may therefore be considered as wearing parts (e.g. batteries)
or to cover damage to breakable parts.
This guarantee shall be invalid if the product has been damaged, used
incorrectly or not maintained. Precise adherence to all of the instructions
specified in the operating manual is required for proper use of the pro-
duct. Intended uses and actions against which the operating manual advi-
ses or warns must be categorically avoided. Please have the receipt and
item number ready as proof of purchase for all enquiries.

Ruuvauskärjen asettaminen paikoilleen/
vaihtaminen
1. Aseta haluamasi ruuvauskärki (7) ruuvauskärjen kiinnitys-
kohtaan (1). Ruuvauskärki asettuu paikoilleen magneettiseen
kiinnitykseen.
2. Poista ruuvauskärki (7) vetämällä se irti kiinnityskohdasta (1).
Kytkeminen päälle/pois päältä
1. Vapauta käynnistyslukko: Vedä käynnistyslukosta (2).
Kytkeminen päälle/pyörimissuunta oikealle: Paina virtakyt-

kintä Pyörimissuunta oikealle (3) .
Kytkeminen päälle/pyörimissuunta vasemmalle: Paina virta-

kytkintä Pyörimissuunta vasemmalle (6) .
Kytkeminen pois päältä: Vapauta virtakytkin (3/6).

Kun käynnistyslukko on painettu alas, voit käyttää laitetta manuaali-
sen ruuvinvääntimen tavoin.
Paristojen vaihtaminen
1. Paina samanaikaisesti molempia vapautuspainikkeita (4) ja
vedä paristokotelo (5) ulos.
2. Poista kuluneet paristot (5a) paristokotelosta (5) ja aseta
niiden tilalle uudet. Huomioi oikeanapaisuus (+/-) (ks. paris-
tokotelossa olevat merkinnät).
3. Työnnä paristokotelo takaisin laitteeseen niin, että se lukittuu
kuuluvasti. Paristokotelo asettuu vain yhteen tiettyyn ase-
maan. Jos huomaat, ettei paristokotelo asetu paikoilleen,
käännä paristokoteloa.
Puhdistus/huolto
Laitetta ei saa ruiskuttaa vedellä eikä sitä saa laittaa veteen. Oi-
kosulusta uhkaava sähköiskuvaara.
• Pidä laitteen kotelo ja kahvat aina puhtaana. Puhdista laite kostealla lii-
nalla. Älä käytä puhdistus- tai liuotinaineita. Ne voivat vaurioittaa laitteen
korjauskelvottomaksi.
• Laite ei kaipaa huoltoa.
Säilytys
• Säilytä laitetta kuivassa ja pölyttömässä paikassa lasten ulottuvilta.
• Säilytä paristot aina kuivassa ja viileässä paikassa.
• Poista paristot laitteesta, jos se on pidempiä aikoja käyttämättä.
Hävitys/ympäristönsuoja
• Poista paristot laitteesta ja toimita laite, paristot, lisävarusteet ja pakkaus
ympäristöystävälliseen keräykseen.
• Toimita laite paikalliseen keräyspisteeseen.
• Hävitä paristot paikallisten määräysten mukaisesti. Vie paristot vanhoille
paristoille tarkoitettuun keräyspisteeseen, josta ne toimitetaan ympäris-
töystävälliseen kierrätykseen. Lisätietoja saat paikalliselta jätehuoltoyri-
tykseltä tai asiakaspalvelustamme.

Takuu
Tälle laitteelle annetaan ostopäivästä alkaen 3 vuoden takuu.
Jos tuotteessa esiintyy kolmen vuoden sisällä ostopäivästä alkaen materiaali-
tai valmistusvirheitä, korjaamme tai vaihdamme tuotteen – valintamme mukaan
– maksutta. Tämä takuusuoritus edellyttää, että näiden kolmen vuoden sisällä
esitetään ostokuitti ja kuvataan kirjallisesti lyhyesti, missä vika on ja milloin se
on syntynyt. Mikäli takuu kattaa vian, saat takaisin joko korjatun tai uuden tuot-
teen. Takuuaika ei ala alusta uudelleen korjauksella tai tuotteen vaihdolla.
Takuu kattaa materiaali- tai valmistusvirheet. Takuuta ei anneta tuoteosille, jot-
ka ovat jatkuvasti normaalissa kulutuksessa ja jotka katsotaan olevan kuluvia
osia (esim. paristoa) eikä myöskään helposti rikkoutuvien osien vahingoille.
Takuu raukeaa, jos tuotetta käytetään vahingoittuneena, asiaankuulumattomasti
ja jos sitä ei ole huollettu. Tuotteen asianmukaiseen käyttöön katsotaan kuulu-
vaksi tässä käyttöohjeessa annettujen ohjeiden tarkka noudattaminen. Kaikkia
toimenpiteitä ja käsittelyjä, joista tässä käyttöohjeessa on varoitettu, täytyy
ehdottomasti välttää. Pidä mahdollisten kysymyksien ja ostovarmistuksen varalta
ostokuitti ja tuotenumero esillä. Mikäli kyseessä on toimintohäiriö tai muu puute,
ota silloin ensin yhteyttä puhelimitse seuraavassa esitettyihin huoltopisteisiin tai
