Safety instructions

6.1

Designated use

Memocheck Plus CYP01D is a comprehensive tool for the qualification of measurement chains
with Memosens technology. It enables you to verify data transmission from sensor coupling via
transmitter to process control system. Memocheck Plus consists of five plug-in heads. Each
plug-in head simulates a specific predefined sensor status.
Memocheck Plus CYP01D is not suitable for application directly in the process.
Memocheck CYP02D is a service tool for quick, on-site checks of measuring systems with
Memosens technology.
Memocheck CYP02D is not suitable for application directly in the process.
Any other use than the one described here compromises the safety of persons and the entire
measuring system and is, therefore, not permitted.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper or non-designated use.
6.2

Operational safety

Memocheck has been designed and tested according to the state of the art and left the factory
in perfect functioning order.
Relevant regulations and European standards have been met.
As the user, you are responsible for complying with the following safety conditions:

• Local prevailing standards and regulations.
