Leakage testing of the MSH FW

1 Remove valve cap (see fig.: 28).
2 Connect test pipe of test pump to valve.
3 Apply a maximum pressure of 0.5 bar via the test
pump.
► After a period of 1 minute, the pressure may not drop
below 0.4 bar.
If the pressure falls below 0.4 bar, please note
the steps described in Section 5.
4 Once the test is complete, the test pressure can be re-
leased at the pump or valve.
5 Measures in the event of pressure dropping below
0.4 bar:
► Check to ensure the valve and pump joint sits firmly.
Pressure still drops:
► Check tightening torque of the screws (see fig.: 16).
Pressure still drops:
► Dismantle and check drill hole diameter.
► Clean core drill hole/wall sleeve.
► Check core drill hole for blowholes in the sealing area
and rework if necessary.
