Safety
Risk of electric shock!
When using batteries, always make sure not to create a short circuit between
the terminals (by tools or the fuel cartridge connections of the EFOY fuel cell or
EFOY fuel manager).
Risk of explosion!
There is a risk of explosion due to insufficient ventilation of the batteries.
Avoid flames and sparks.
Ensure adequate ventilation while charging the battery.
Observe the safety instructions of the battery manufacturer.
Risk of fire!
Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged with the EFOY fuel cell.
Only use battery types that comply with the technical data.
Safe and tested EFOY fuel cartridges contain methanol approved by SFC Energy AG.
When the EFOY fuel cell and EFOY fuel cartridges are used properly, there is no risk of
coming into contact with methanol.
Risk of fire! Methanol is highly flammable. Escaping methanol vapours can
cause a fire.
Do not smoke when changing the EFOY fuel cartridge and keep all sources
of ignition away.
Keep the area around the EFOY ProEnergyCase, the EFOY fuel cell and
EFPY fuel cartridges clean and free of petrol and other ignition sources.
Protect the EFOY ProEnergyCase, the EFOY fuel cell and the EFOY fuel
cartridges from temperatures above 50 °C.
