INSTALLATION AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

4.1

Setup and installation

The operating temperature may be between:
S
–10°C and +40°C for legal-for-trade applications;
S
–10°C and +50°C for non-legal-for-trade applications.
In both cases, the relative humidity (without condensation) must not exceed 95%.
For wall mounting, first mount the device on the wall. Then connect the cables with the
housing cover open.
There are six fastening clamps on the device for control cabinet mounting.
Before starting up the device, close the housing and screw down the cover using the
hexagon nuts supplied. Tighten the hexagon nuts crosswise with a torque of 1.1 Nm.
4.2

General cable assembly

All connection cables are routed through bolted connections on the bottom of the device
into the inside of the housing.
Cable sheath

Slide the swivel nut over the cable sheath.

Push the plastic insert over the cable sheath until the right edge of the insert meets
the end of the cable sheath.

Unbraid the shield and lay it as flat as possible over the right part of the plastic insert
so that the shield is conductively connected with the housing. The shield wires must
not be longer than the right part of the insert. Otherwise the bolted cable connection
will no longer provide a reliable seal.
