Problem
Residual heat indicator
does not come on.
The control panel be‐
comes hot to the touch.
There is no sound when
you touch the panel sen‐
sor fields.
The indicator above the
symbol
comes on.
The control bar blinks.
The hood does not start
or turns off. The indica‐
tors above the hood con‐
trol symbols might also
blink.
The hood fan does not
work properly when the
hood functions are acti‐
vated.
Possible cause
The zone is not hot be‐
cause it operated only for a
short time or the sensor is
damaged.
The cookware is too large
or you put it too close to
the control panel.
The sounds are deactiva‐
ted.
Child Safety Device or
Lock operates.
There is no cookware on
the zone or the zone is not
fully covered.
The cookware is unsuita‐
ble.
The diameter of the bottom
of the cookware is too
small for the zone.
The fan may turn off by it‐
self in certain conditions,
e.g. when the room is not
properly ventilated.
The ambient temperature
surrounding the hood is too
high.
There is insufficient air cir‐
culation inside and around
the hood.

Remedy
If the zone operated suffi‐
ciently long to be hot, speak
to an Authorised Service
Centre.
Put large cookware on the
rear zones, if possible.
Activate the sounds. Refer to
"Daily use".
Refer to "Child Safety De‐
vice" and "Lock".
Put cookware on the zone so
that it fully covers the cook‐
ing zone.
Use cookware suitable for in‐
duction hobs. Refer to "Hints
and tips".
Use cookware with correct
dimensions. Refer to "Tech‐
nical data".
Open the window. You may
need to install the window
switch. Refer to "Assembly".
If the window switch is al‐
ready present, make sure it
was correctly installed. Refer
to the installation booklet.
Press any symbol. The hood
operates again.
Deactivate the hob and un‐
plug it from the main power
supply. Wait at least 10 sec‐
onds, then plug it in again.
Other suggestions:
Try to cool down the temper‐
ature of the surrounding
area. Take out the hood filter
and remove the residual
moisture from the inside of
the hood. Refer to "Care and
cleaning". Leave the hood
system to dry for one day,
then activate the hood again.
