4. CONTROLS
• Key switch (Fig. 6.A)
1. Key removed. The power circuit is disabled and the ma-
chine turns off. No function can be activated.
2. Key fully inserted. the machine is ready to be turned ON.
IMPORTANT Remove the key whenever the machine is left
unattended or not in use.
• Traction pedal (Fig. 6.F)

IMPORTANT The drive disengages when the operator leaves
the seat.
• Transmission engagement / disengagement lever
1. Drive engaged : move the lever (fig. 6.H) into the hori-
zontal position (A).
2. Transmission disengaged: move the lever (fig. 6.H)
downwards (B).
IMPORTANT The engagement/disengagement lever must nev-
er be in the intermediate position. This condition will cause over-
heating and damage the transmission.
• Cutting height adjustment lever
This lever (fig. 6 G) is used to raise and lower the cutting
means assembly, which may be positioned at 6 different
cutting heights between 3 and 8 cm.

• Emergency button

The emergency button (Fig. 6.B) allows the machine to be
stopped immediately in the event of an emergency.
The button has two positions:
Enabled
IMPORTANT The machine cannot be started when the emer-
gency button is enabled.
• Auxiliary socket for USB accessories (Fig. 6.I)
• Warning buzzers
1. Dual sound indication: missing grass catcher.
2. Continuous sound indication: grass catcher full:
3. Single sound indication: no reverse gear cutting permis-
sion. See icon fig. 7.C.
4. Repeated intermittent signal: no operator seated with
key on.
5. Triple sound signal: no permission for the cutting means

There are the following buttons and icons, in addition to

Machine start button
With the key fully inserted (fig. 6.A), this
button (fig. 7.A) turns the machine ON and
enables all functions. Activation is signalled
by an audible "beep".
IMPORTANT If all safety conditions are met,
the "READY" (fig. 7.K) icon comes ON and
the machine is ready to be used.
