Unauthorised repairs to the appliance
can cause property damage and per-
sonal injury, and invalidate liability and
warranty claims.
■ Never try to repair the appliance
yourself.
■ Only parts corresponding to the orig-
inal appliance specifi cations may be
used for repairs.
■ Changes and repairs to the appliance
may be carried out only by author-
ised specialists, such as our service
department (see page EN-39).
■ Do not remove the covers from the
interior light. Do not attempt to re-
place the interior light. If in doubt,
contact our service department (see
page EN-39).
■ If the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualifi ed
persons to avoid a hazard.
■ Check the appliance regularly for
damage.
CAUTION
Fire hazard!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to fi re.
■ Connect the appliance only to a
properly installed and earthed elec-
tric socket. Do not connect to a mul-
ti-socket extension cable or a mul-
ti-socket plug.
■ Do not operate the appliance with an
external timer or a separate remote
control system.
Risks when dealing with
dishwashers
WARNING
Risk of injury!
Knives and other pointed or sharp-
edged objects can cause injuries.
■ Knives and other utensils with sharp
points must be loaded in the basket
with their points down or placed in a
horizontal position.
■ Make sure that sharp objects
do not protrude from the bot-
tom of the rack.
■ Load the appliance in such a way that
no objects fall out of the dish racks
when the appliance is next opened
and the dish racks are removed.
CAUTION
Risk of explosion!
Solvents can create an explosive mix-
ture.
■ Never put solvents into the appliance.
■ Do not place fl ammable products or
objects wetted with fl ammable prod-
ucts into or near to the appliance.
Risk of poisoning!
Dishwasher detergents, rinse aid and
dishwasher salt can be damaging to
the health.
■ Keep these products out of the reach
of children and pets.
■ Never use the water inside the appli-
ance as drinking water.
