QUICK-JOINT CONNECTION PIPES

ATTENTION!
Before setting up the connection, make sure that the gas system and the connection terminals
are suitable for the intended purpose and comply with the specifications in this instruction
manual.
ATTENTION!
The appliance must be connected to the gas pipe by means of the flexible connection hose
(1.50 m long) supplied, equipped with a quick-joint terminal.
The supplied pipe is suitable for outdoor use. The operating temperatures and the expiration date within
which the flexible hose must be replaced are specified on the plastic covering sheath of the hose.
ATTENTION!
Always check the flexible hose for proper appearance and preservation (no abrasions, cuts,
deteriorations of any kind of the pipe plastic covering, etc ...) before each connection to the
gas system.
ATTENTION!
Connect the end of the quick-joint pipe only to valves suitable for the purpose and specifically
manufactured to be coupled to this type of joints intended for supplying outdoor appliances
(such as barbecue or outdoor grills).
If connecting the quick joint is hard or impossible, immediately stop the operation and contact the
manufacturer of the outdoor gas valve. Do not force or try to alter the gas quick joint in any way: tampering
with it could cause very dangerous gas leaks for the safety of both the user and installer.
To connect the product to the gas system follow the procedure below:

1 Remove the product from the recess by sliding it on the sliding base up to the operating position, that is
reached when the sliding base end stop triggers.
2 Take the flexible hose terminal equipped with a quick joint and connect it to the appropriate outdoor gas
valve. Upon connection, a click is heard.
3 Once connection has been made, turn the shut-off valve on the outdoor gas valve and move it to the "open"
position.
Note: if connection has not been properly made, the valve will remain locked in the "closed" position preventing
gas from being supplied.
Avoid any type of mechanical stress on flexible hoses during installation and use (protection against
traction, twisting, crushing, etc.).
ATTENTION!
Perform maintenance and periodically replace the flexible hose within the expiration date
written on the sheath. Do not use expired or damaged flexible hoses by any means.
