5 Preparing for assembly
1
Check diameter (D) of core drill/wall sleeve and wall
thickness (X) (see fig.: 2).

2
Clean the core drill hole/wall sleeve.
A clean, smooth contact surface is required for
the installation. Any existing breaks must be re-
worked.
When installing the MSH PolySafe in an existing
MSH PolySafe MFR, care should additionally be
taken to observe the installation instructions
"MSH PolySafe wall sleeve".
Given a "one-man installation", the external seal-
ing elements module 1 and module 6 (without
outer flange) can be slid onto the MSH PolySafe
basic variant 1 before the MSH is pushed into the
wall opening (wall sleeve/core drill hole). To do
so, the appropriate wall thickness is transferred
to the MSH with the pre-mounted external seal-
ing element and then inserted together into the
wall opening. Ensure that the external sealing
element remains in position. Continue with:
stallation of MSH PolySafe basic variant 1
tion step 3.
(This alternative does not work with external se-
aling elements modules 1.2 and 6.2 (each fitted
with outer flange).
6 Assembly of MSH PolySafe basic variant 1
1
Push the MSH PolySafe into the core drill hole/wall
sleeve from the inside of the building until the flange
fits closely against the inside wall (see fig.: 3).
2
Align the front panel with the help of the level (see
fig.: 4).

Position and alignment must always be agreed
with the energy suppliers!

In order to mount the outer sealing element ea-
sier, this can already before reaching the max.
Torque be pushed from outside into the drill
hole/wall sleeve.
Observe the installation direction! The screw
heads must point outwards.
Tighten the four internal hex screws of the internal
sealing crosswise and in several rounds until the yel-
low pressure pins/control pins are flush with the front
panel or a torque of max .12 Nm has been reached
(see fig.: 7 and 8).
Legend for fig.: 8

Yellow pressure pins/control pins
It must be ensured that the flange sits flat and
flush against the wall while the internal hex-so-
cket screws are tightened!
The yellow control pins have a stop and cannot
protrude past the point of being flush! The cor-
rect tightening torque has been reached when
yellow control pins can no longer be pushed
back.

1
Spread plenty of lubricant on the sleeve pipes and the
internal sealing surface of the external sealing ele-
ment (module 1) (see fig.: 9 and 10).
Do not spread lubricant on the external sealing
surface of the external sealing element. The latter
must be clean, dry and free of grease.
