The FeVac One unit is used for the reproduction of pre-recorded spoken alarm and alert messages. There
are also facilities for the operator to deliver spoken messages via emergency microphones connected to
the system. Two emergency microphones and eight contact inputs for alarm or alert messages can be
connected. One input is available for monitoring the emergency Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS).
The Alarm/Alert messages and the microphone announcements can be routed to dedicated zones.
FeVac One monitors both its own lines and the housings of the emergency microphones. The FeVac Two
system is connected to the FeVac One system via a PATCH 8 cable. FeVac One maintains continuous
communication with the FeVac Two system via the PATCH 8 cable.
Error signals for the FeVac One and for the FeVac Two units connected to it are shown on the FeVac
One display. FeVac One can store up to 99 error messages. If the FeVac One system fails, the FeVac
Two system continues to operate and the operator can still deliver spoken messages via emergency
microphone 1.
