Visit PRO.BOSE.COM to download the latest software version, which includes product firmware, the latest algorithms, and a detailed help system to guide system designers and installers through configuring the processor for use in high-quality audio systems. -

Phone Plug (Unbalanced) 4. AmpLink Connection If you are using a Bose AmpLink-enabled amplifier, connect the AmpLink port (RJ-45) on the EX-1280, EX-440C, or EX-1280C to the amplifier’s AmpLink port using a shielded Cat 5 cable. CAUTION: Shielded EIA/TIA 568B straight Cat 5 cable, or equivalent, is required for proper AmpLink operation. -

Dante Network Connection The rear panel of the processor includes two Dante network ports (Primary and Secondary), which provide input and output channels of low-latency digital audio using Dante audio networking technology. These ports can be configured for switched (default), redundant, isolated, or filtered network connections using Dante Controller by Audinate. -

The EX-1280 and EX-1280C include an RS-485 port (CC-16) for compatible Bose controllers.
