Mounting

The new M400 2-wire transmitter is available as ½ DIN version.
For installation drawings refer to the Operation Manual.
1. ½ DIN only: Mount the supplied cable glands at the enclosure.
2. Mount the transmitter. You have the following possibilities:
• Panel mounting, wall mounting or pipe mounting

Electrical Connection

Danger! Mortal danger by electric shock: Power off instrument during electrical connection.
1. Switch off supply voltage.
2. Connect mains supply (14 to 30 V DC) to the terminals AO1+ / HART and AO1− / HART
or to the terminals AO2+ and AO−. Notice polarity.
3. Connect digital input signals, digital output signals (OC) and analog output signal to
terminal block TB1 according to the Operation Manual.
4. Connect sensor to terminal block TB2 according to the Operation Manual.
For terminal definitions refer to the Operation Manual or scan the QR code on the title page to
get a wiring diagram.
