3.3 Product safety

The device is intended for light grinding and cutting work, and work with suitable wire

brushes.

3.3.2 Foreseeable misuse – NOT PERMITTED –

The device is not suitable for use with liquid coolants or lubricants. Furthermore, the

device must not be used for polishing and/or grinding surfaces with diamond wheels and

with diamond or hard ceramic wheels.

3.4.1 General hazard warnings

• Protect the device against heat, open flame, water and moisture. There

is a risk of explosion.

• Work on the electrical equipment must be performed by a qualified elec-

trician, or by a trained person supervised and guided by an electrician in

line with electrical technology rules.

• Only use the device with compatible 18 V batteries by STORCH. There is

a fire hazard.

• Do not cover the ventilation slots of the device. The device may overhe-

• Prevent ingress of liquids such as water and polish. There is a risk of

electric shock.

• Keep a tight hold on the device. Secure loose workpieces with a clamping

device or vice.

• Wait for the device to come to a standstill before depositing it.

• If the device is snagged, this can lead to loss of control over the tool.

• Always use appropriate protective equipment, eye and ear protection, and

a respiratory protection mask during use.

• Keep children and other persons away from the device when using it. If

you are distracted, you can lose control over the power tool.
