For the remote control to function properly
with SMS, it is necessary for the standard SMS app of
your mobile device to have your phone number as the send-
er and not manipulate the text. Under no circumstances may
"WebSMS connectors" be used.

Perform the appliance search

Preparation:
1. Connect all suitable iNet-capable appliances to
the Truma iNet Box and to the control panel (see
"Truma iNet Box" installation instructions).
2. Switch on the power supply for all connected appliances.
3. Perform the appliance search depending on the
Truma iNet Box interfaces used.
Appliance search, TIN1 interface:
All appliances are automatically recognised.
The iNet-capable appliances connected to the Truma CP plus
control panel must be known to the Truma CP plus control
panel. If this is not the case, you must perform the following
steps on the Truma CP plus:
Start the search of the appliances – Menu
"Service menu" -> "RESET" -> "PR SET".
After confirmation, the Truma CP plus control panel is
initialised. "INIT .." appears on the display while this is in
progress. This stores the appliances that have been found in
the Truma CP plus control panel.
Observe the manufacturer's installation and operating
instructions in the case of control panels from third-party
suppliers.
Appliance search, TIN2 interface:
Open the appliance manager in the Truma App under "Set-
tings" and perform the appliance search.
Resetting the Truma iNet Box to the factory settings also ena-
bles an appliance search to be performed (see "Factory set-
ting" on page 23).

Bluetooth communication

Setting up the Bluetooth connection

To connect the mobile device to the Truma iNet Box for
the first time, the mobile device must be switched on and
Bluetooth must be activated (see the operating instructions
of the mobile device).
– Start the Truma App and open the remote control
– Press the button (Figure 2 – 1) on the Truma iNet Box for
approx. 1 second.
If a Bluetooth connection has already been set up, the
one under "Settings" -> "Set up Truma iNet Box" can be
changed.
If the Bluetooth pairing is active, the Truma iNet Box
becomes visible for up to 2 minutes in the mobile device
and the blue LED flashes at the same time (Figure 1). The
name "iNet Box" appears on the mobile device.
The Bluetooth connection to the mobile device can be
made.
Confirm the "iNet Box" connection in the Bluetooth settings
of your mobile device.
