7.2 Adjustment of the VTA (tonearm height)
The Clearaudio linear gauge is suitable for adjusting the tonearm height, since it comes with same
thickness as a record.
Place the Clearaudio linear gauge over the turntable spindle and align it so that it points towards
the tonearm base.

If necessary, a correction can be made using the height adjustment screw (Pic. 24).

Check the tonearm height by placing the Mini Level Gauge
(included) on the headshell.
Place the gauge centred on the top of the headshell of the
raised cartridge (Pic. 23).
