5.3 Time delay

This equals the start time delay of the control
unit, in minutes. After each system start, the dos-
ing is blocked until the delay has expired.
Role of thumb: Time delay in minutes =
Backwash time + 2 min
5.4 Dosing time (1) pH
The dosing time limitation prevents dangerous
faulty dosing if an electrode fails. The value has
to be adjusted to the size of the pool con-
cerned. Example: if there is failure in the system,
a maximum of 2,4 l water care product can be
dosed given a dosing time limit setting of 60
mins (pump performance 2,4 l/hr.) The unit
then switches off. "Limit" appears in the first
line of the display (pH). The triggered alarm can
be cancelled by pressing the "OK" key.

5.5 Dosing time (2)

The dosing time limit prevents dangerous faulty
dosing if an electrode fails. The value has to be
adjusted to the size of the pool concerned.
Example: if there is damage, a maximum of 2,4 l
water care product can be dosed given a dosing
time limit setting of 60 mins (pump performance
2,4 l/hr.) The unit then switches off. "Limit" ap-
pears in the second line of the display (pH). The
triggered alarm can be cancelled by pressing the
"OK" key

5.6 IDS— Intelligent Dosing System
Automatic adjustment of dosing time limits.
A swimming pool is subject to constantly chang-
ing conditions, e.g. when fresh water is added or
as the chlorine concentration in the water treat-
ment product starts to decline.
A rigid dosing time limit switches dosing off af-
ter the specified time for safety reasons. IDS en-
ables the device to recognize that the values are
settling and automatically extends the dosing
time limit. This helps prevent a premature shut-
down for safety reasons in most cases.
The system is set to IDS 2 in the factory. The
IDS can be altered or switched off in the system
settings submenu. Press the Arrow keys to select
the IDS item and confirm this with OK.
You can select the following settings:
IDS OFF: IDS - Intelligent Dosing System - is
deactivated, in other words the dosing time limit
is not automatically extended.
IDS 1: Recommended setting for indoor swim-
ming pools and small outdoor pools.
IDS 2: Recommended setting for pools measur-
ing up to 65 m³ with a dosing pump output of
2,4 l/h
IDS 3: Recommended setting for pools measur-
ing up to 65 m³ with a dosing pump output of
2,4 l/h.
