Important instructions:

• The salt container only needs to be refilled when the salt warning light on the
control panel comes on. Depending on how the salt dissolves, the warning
light may come on even if the salt container has been filled. If there is no salt
warning light on the control panel (on some models), you can estimate when
you need to refill the dishwasher salt depending on how often the dishwasher
has been used.
• If salt has been spilled, start a quick programme to remove excess salt.
To adjust the amount of rinsing salt correctly
Follow the steps below to adjust the salt consumption:
• Step 1: Select the rinse salt settings
Close the door of the dishwasher. Within 60 seconds of switching on, press
and hold the 'Glass' button for 5 seconds to enter the rinse salt setting.
• Step 2: Set the amount of rinse salt according to water hardness
Press the 'Glass' button to select the correct setting according to your water
hardness. The setting changes in the following order: H3 > H4 > H5 > H6 > H1
> H2.
• Step 3: Exit rinse salt settings
If you do not select any further setting for 5 seconds, the appliance
automatically exits the settings and goes into standby mode.
