4. General notes

4.6 Maintenance and service

This scale may only be opened and repaired by trained service partners authorized
by Soehnle Industrial Solutions. If the scale does not
operates as intended, there is a suspicion of damage.
The scale must then be taken to a service partner authorized by Soehnle Industrial
Solutions. Only original spare parts may be used for repairs by an authorized ser-
vice partner. The original parts are described in the service documentation with
order number.

4.7 Warranty / Guarantee / Liability

Insofar as there is a defect in the delivered item for which the manufacturer is res-
ponsible, the manufacturer is entitled to choose either to remedy the defect or to
deliver a replacement. Replaced parts become the property of the manufacturer.
If the remedy of the defect of the replacement delivery fails, the statutory provisi-
ons shall apply.
The warranty period is 24 months and starts on the day of the first purchase of the
product. Please keep the invoice as proof. In case of service, please contact your
dealer or the manufacturer's customer service.
In particular, no warranty is given for damage resulting from the following causes:
Unsuitable, improper storage or use, faulty assembly or commissioning by the
purchaser or by third parties, natural wear and tear, modification or tampering, faul-
ty or negligent handling, in particular excessive stress, chemical, electrochemical,
electrical influences or moisture, unless these are the fault of the manufacturer. If
operational, climatic or other influences lead to a significant change in the condi-
tions or the condition of the material, the warranty for the proper overall function of
the equipment shall become void. The warranty period for wearing parts (e.g.
rechargeable batteries) is 6 months.
Keep the original packaging for possible return transport!
