Overcooked, melted or
hot, sugary residues and
splashes on the glass.
Spilled food or liquids on
the function buttons.
Remove the dirt with a
carpet knife, razor blade
or scraper for ceramic
hobs, but be careful not
to burn yourself on the
hot hob.
1. Switch off the hob.
2. Hold the blade or
tool at a 30° angle
and scrape the dirt
into a cold corner of
the hob.
3. Remove the dirt with
a cloth or kitchen
towel.
4. Follow steps 2-4
under "Daily
contamination".

soft sponge or
kitchen towel.

• Remove the stains
and splashes
immediately, as
they are harder to
remove once they
have become cold.
• Caution: Risk of
injury!
As soon as the
safety cover is
removed from
the carpet knife,
the sharp knife
sticks out. Handle
it carefully so that
you do not injure
yourself.
• The hob may start
to beep, switch
itself off and the
buttons may stop
working as long as
there is liquid on
them. Make sure
the buttons are
clean and dry before
switching the hob
back on.
