■ The edges and chips from the workpiece are
sharp. Wear gloves. To prevent injuries, it is
also advisable to wear shoes with thick soles.
■ Do not place the tool onto the chips from the
workpiece. Otherwise the tool may be
damaged and malfunction.
■ Do not leave the tool running unattended.
Use the tool only when held in your hands.
■ Always ensure that you have a firm footing.
When you are working in an elevated position,
ensure that no-one is standing beneath you.
■ Avoid touching the grooved pin, the die or the
workpiece immediately after machining, be-
cause the parts will still be very hot and can
cause skin burns.
■ Avoid cutting electrical cables. This can lead
to serious accidents due to electric shock.
