Caution!
For compound mitre cuts the swivelling auxil-
iary fence must be swung to the left (bevelled
side facing the saw blade). Otherwise the
swivelling auxiliary fence can get caught by
the saw blade when cutting.
Execution:
The actual cutting operation is the same as
described under "Standard cross cuts".

Care and maintenance

A
Danger!
Prior to all servicing:
- Switch machine OFF.
- Unplug power cable.
- Wait until the saw has come to a complete
stop.
· Check that all safety devices are operational
again after each service.
· Replace defective parts, especially of safety
devices, only with genuine replacement parts.
Parts not tested and approved by the equip-
ment maker can cause unforeseen damage.
· Repair and maintenance work other than
described in this section should only be carried
out by qualified specialists.

Saw cleaning

· Remove chips and saw dust with brush or vac-
uum cleaner from:
- motor vent openings;
- hollow space under the turntable;
- setting devices;
- operating controls.
Also remove chips and saw dust from inside the
saw, if necessary.

Saw transportation

1. Swing sawhead down.
2. Push locking pin in.
3. Remove all accessories projecting over the saw
table.
If possible use original carton for shipping.

Saw storage

A
Danger!
Store saw so that
- it can not be started by unauthorized per-
sons and
- nobody can get hurt by the stored
machine.

Caution! Do not store machine unprotected
outdoors or in damp environment.

Saw blade change

A
Danger!
Directly after cutting the saw blade may be
very hot – risk of burns! Let a hot saw blade
cool down. Do not clean the saw blade with
combustible liquids.
Risk of injury, even with the blade at stand-
still. Wear gloves when changing blades.
On re-assembly observe direction of rotation
of inner blade collar, saw blade and outer
blade collar!
1. Loosen the two screws (45) of the blade guard
and swing cover plate (56) to the rear.
2. To lock the saw blade in position, depress the
lock knob (47) and turn the saw blade with the
other hand until the lock engages.
3. Loosen arbor bolt (49) of saw blade shaft (left-
hand thread!).
4. Actuate sawhead lock (46) and swing retracta-
ble blade guard (49) fully up
