1 HINWEIS: Beim Betrieb mit chirurgischen
Lasern kann es zu intensivem Laserlicht
kommen, das die Bilddarstellung
beeinträchtigt.
5. 1 Frequenz des IMAGE1 S™ 4U
Kamerakopfes (50/60 Hz)
Der IMAGE1 S™ 4U Kamerakopf ist entweder für
den 50 Hz­ oder für den 60 Hz­Betrieb geeignet.
Der Kamerakopf muss entsprechend den örtlichen
Bedingungen ausgewählt werden.

Kamerakopfes
5. 2. 1 Endoskop und Lichtkabel
anschließen
Der IMAGE1 S™ 4U Kamerakopf verfügt über
eine integrierte Instrumentenkupplung und eine
integrierte Optik. Endoskope werden an die
Instrumentenkupplung angeschlossen, indem der
äußere Ring der Kupplung im Uhrzeigersinn gedreht
und das Okular des Endoskops eingesetzt wird.
Um ein Drehen des Endoskops zu verhindern,
muss der äußere Ring der Instrumentenkupplung
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn festgedreht werden. Das
Lichtkabel an das Okular des Endoskops anschlie­
ßen, indem die Rändelschraube am Lichtkabel um
eine Vierteldrehung festgezogen wird.

VORSICHT: Rückstände von
Desinfektions mittel auf dem Lichtleiter oder
am Lichteinlass des Endoskops können
durch die Hitzeentwicklung der Lichtquelle
einbrennen. Dies kann zu einem reduzier-
ten Lichtleitvermögen und somit zu einer
Verschlechterung der Bildqualität führen.

5. 1 Frequency of the IMAGE1 S™ 4U
camera head (50/60 Hz)
The IMAGE1 S™ 4U camera head is suitable for
operation at either 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The camera
head must be selected to suit the local conditions.

5. 2. 1 Connecting an endoscope
and light cable
The IMAGE1 S™ 4U camera head has an
integrated instrument coupler and integrated
telescope. To connect an endoscope to the
instrument coupler, turn the outer ring of the
coupler clockwise and insert the endoscope
eyepiece. To prevent rotation of the endoscope,
the outer ring of the instrument coupler must
be turned counterclockwise until tight. Connect
the light cable to the endoscope eyepiece by
tightening the knurled screw on the light cable
through a quarter turn.

CAUTION: Heat from the light source
can cause disinfectant residue on the light
cable or on the light inlet of the endoscope
to burn. This can have a detrimental effect
on the light conduction and thus the image
quality.

5. 1 Frecuencia del cabezal de la
cámara IMAGE1 S™ 4U (50/60 Hz)
El cabezal de la cámara IMAGE1 S™ 4U es apto
para funcionar con una frecuencia de 50 Hz o
una frecuencia de 60 Hz. El cabezal de la cámara
ha de seleccionarse conforme a las condiciones
locales correspondientes.

5. 2 Manejo del cabezal de la
cámara IMAGE1 S™ 4U
5. 2. 1 Conexión del endoscopio y
del cable de luz
El cabezal de la cámara IMAGE1 S™ 4U
dispone de un acoplamiento para instrumentos
y un telescopio integrados. Para conectar los
endoscopios al acoplamiento para instrumentos,
gire el anillo exterior del acoplamiento en el
sentido de las agujas del reloj e inserte el ocular
del endoscopio. Para impedir que el endoscopio
gire, hay que apretar el anillo exterior del
acoplamiento para instrumentos girándolo en
el sentido contrario al de las agujas del reloj.
Conecte el cable de luz al ocular del endoscopio
apretando un cuarto de vuelta el tornillo
moleteado en el cable de luz.

ADVERTENCIA: El calor generado por la
fuente de luz puede quemar los residuos
del producto desinfectante en el cable de
luz y en la entrada de luz del endoscopio.
Esto puede mermar la conductividad
lumínica y, en consecuencia, menoscabar
la calidad de la imagen.
