• Remove two screws at the rear side of top cover.
• Remove the top cover and place it safely aside.
• Dismount the upper door hinge.
• Lift the appliance door, detach the doorstopper at
the bottom side and replace it to the opposite
side. Place the door safely aside.
• Dismount the lower hinge of door of freezer com-
partment. Lift out the freezer door and place it
safely aside.
• Transfer and attach the door holder to the oppo-
site side of the freezer.
• Remove and transfer the blind cap which covered
the upper hinge to the bottom side hinge mount.
• Rotate the freezer door by 180° and mount the
hinge. Close the door of freezer compartment.
• Tilt the unit slightly backwards and secure it in this
position. Unscrew the feet and remove the lower
door hinge.
• Transfer and attach the lower door hinge to the
opposite side of the unit after unscrewing the
hinge pin and inserting it from the other hinge
side. Screw in the feet accordingly.
• Place the unit back in the upright position. Put on
the device door and fix it in the intended position.
• Transfer and attach the upper door hinge to the
opposite side of the appliance.
• Put on the top cover and tighten the screws on
the rear side.
• Check that the rubber door seal is properly seated
and adjust it to the correct position if necessary.
Check if the door is aligned vertically and horizontally
optimally so that the smooth opening and closing of
the door is guaranteed.

Startup / Operation

Prior to first use
CAUTION:
After transport, the appliance should be left standing
upright for four hours before connecting to the power
supply. Nonobservance could lead to malfunction of
the cooling system and causes an appliance break-
down.
Clean the appliance interior including all accessory
parts. Consider the instructions which we provide in
"Cleaning and Maintenance".

Starting the appliance
• Connect the appliance to the power supply.
• Operate the temperature control. See also the
"Settings"
section
Settings
Setting [ 0 ] means that the appliance is in the off
state. Turn the temperature control clockwise, start-
ing from this setting; the appliance will turn on auto-
matically.
The power levels [ 1–7 ] regulate the different values
of the internal temperature.
Setting 0: Off state
Power level 1 + 2 :
lowest level → warmest internal temperature
Power level 3 + 4 :
medium level → optimal operating temperature
Power level 5 + 6 + 7* :
highest level → coldest internal temperature
*Beware of high setting because the maximum level
may already means "freezing point".
The temperature of the freezer is automatically con-
trolled by the power level setting in the fridge.
