■ Observe the plus (+) and
minus (−) marks on the cell,
battery and equipment and
ensure correct use.
■ Before disposing of these
batteries, tape off the poles
to prevent an external short
circuit.
■ Do not use any cell or bat-
tery which is not designed
for use with the equipment.
■ Use the cell or battery only
in the application for which
it was intended.
■ Do not mix cells of different
manufacture, capacity, size
or type within a device.
■ Always purchase the bat-
tery recommended by the
device manufacturer for
the equipment.
■ When possible, remove the
battery from the equip-
ment when not in use.
■ Before disposing of the ap-
pliance, remove and sepa-
rately dispose of single-use
and rechargeable batteries
that are not permanent-
ly built into the appliance,
in accordance with regula-
tions.
■ Only dispose of single-use
and rechargeable batteries
in a discharged state!
■ If possible, use rechargea-
ble batteries instead of dis-
posable batteries.
