Safety notices
In this chapter you will find gener-
al safety notices which you must
always observe for your own pro-
tection and that of third parties.
Please also observe the warning
notices in the individual chapters
on operation, cleaning, etc.
Risks to children
WARNING
Risk of suffocation!
Children can become entan-
gled in the packaging film or
swallow small parts and suf-
focate.
■ Do not allow children to
play with the packaging
film.
■ Prevent children from pull-
ing small parts from the de-
vice or taking them out of
the accessory bag and put-
ting them in their mouths.
Safety
Additional
measures apply to children of
all ages.
■ Keep batteries out of the
reach of children.
Battery usage by children
should be supervised. Espe-
cially keep small batteries
out of reach of small chil-
dren.
■ Seek medical advice imme-
diately if a cell or a battery
has been swallowed.
Even with the filters, the ap-
pliance exhaust air may still
contain small quantities of
dirt particles. If breathed in
by small children, these can
lead to allergic reactions.
■ Avoid vacuuming close to
children, wherever possible.
