REFRESHING THE OIL
1. Place the generator on a level surface and warm up
the engine for several minutes Then stop the engine.
2. Remove the oil filler cap.
3. Place the oil collect can under the motor, unscrew the
oil drain plug, tilt the machine and drain the oil
completely.
4. Fill with fresh oil up to the maximum level.
5. Replace the oil drain plug.
6. Replace the oil filler cap.
Transporting/storage
To prevent fuel spillage when transporting or during
temporary storage, the generator should be secured
upright in its normal operating position, with the engine
switch OFF. Turn the cap lever fully counterclockwise to
the "OFF" position.
Storage (for more than one month):
Drain all the fuel out of the tank, fuel cock and carburetor.
Shake the tank untill all the excess is being drained off.
Pour about one tablespoon of motor oil through the spark plug hole, then pull
the starter several times and install the plug (with ignition off), until you feel that
the piston is on its compression, stop pulling.
Store the generator in a dry, well-ventilated place.
