• WARNING! Make sure the carrycot is fitted close to the seat.
• WARNING! Make sure the belts are taut (Fig. 32).
HOW TO PLACE BABY IN THE CARRYCOT
Press the red button on the central buckle to release the shoulder straps and place
them on the side of the carrycot (fig 33a).
Place the child in the carrycot, pass the straps over the child's shoulders (fig. 33b).
Join together the two ends/tabs of the straps to form a single connector. Insert the
connector into the central buckle until you hear a click (fig. 33c). Make sure that
the straps are not twisted and that they are correctly positioned over the child's
shoulders (fig. 34).
To adjust the seat belt according to the child's build, pull the free end of both the
left and right adjustment chest straps (fig. 34).
WARNING: The 3-point seat belt must be adjusted so that it fits snugly to the child's
body, without being too tight.
To loosen the chest belt, press down the red button on the adjuster and simultaneously
pull the fixed part of the chest belt (fig. 35). Repeat this process also on the adjuster
of the opposite chest belt.
HOW TO REMOVE BABY
Release the belt by pressing down the red button on the central buckle (fig. 36).
HOW TO REMOVE THE CARRYCOT FROM THE CAR SEAT
Carry out the following procedures on both sides of the carrycot.
Release the buckle from the carrycot, by pulling the red plastic tab on the buckle
outwards and, at the same time, lift the buckle upwards (Fig. 37).
In this way, the carrycot is released from the belt.
The buckle remains attached to the car seatbelt.
WARNING! The car seatbelt must never be used to fasten a passenger without having
first removed the buckle of the CLASSIC CARRYCOT KIT: it could be hazardous!
To remove the buckle from the car seatbelt, loosen the hole of the belt (Fig. 38), turn
the red bar and remove the buckle (Fig. 39).
HOW TO SECURE THE CARRYCOT IN THE CAR:
With the car seat belt attachment buckles already fixed to the car seat belt.
To fasten the carrycot to the car seat once again, with the two buckles already
attached to the car seatbelt, carry out the following procedures:
Fasten the car seatbelts, making sure that they are fastened correctly, see the
paragraph HOW TO SECURE THE CARRYCOT IN THE CAR, first installation.
Secure the buckles to the carrycot, refer to the paragraph "HOW TO FIT THE CLASSIC
CARRYCOT KIT on the carrycot – Buckles for car seatbelts".
