1 Introduction
Thank you for buying this METTLER TOLEDO product. InSUS™ optical dissolved oxygen (DO) sensors are gamma
irradiation-sterilizable single-use DO sensors. The sensors have been designed especially for deployment
in single-use bags used in biotechnical processes. The sensors offer a design that allows safe and easy instal-
lation in a standard Eldon James port disc with a 1" barb. This port disc is welded into the bag film prior to
sensor installation.

Safety Instructions

The sensor should be handled carefully. Local safety regulations are applicable to the handling of the sensor.
Installation and operation should be carried out only by trained personnel and staff familiar with the unit and who
have read and understood this installation manual.
