15.4.4 Fitting the saw blade (fig. 29)
1. Clean the outer and inner saw blade flange (6d/6c) care-
fully, before fitting a new saw blade (6).
2. Place a new saw blade (6) on the drive shaft (6e). Ob-
serve the rotational direction: The cutting angle of the teeth
must point in the running direction (forwards). The running
direction is usually also marked on the saw blade.
3. Fit the outer saw blade flange (6d) back on the drive shaft
(6e). Ensure the correct alignment of the outer saw blade
flange (6d).
4. Screw the fixing nut (6f) tight onto the drive shaft (6e) with
the hand.
5. Carefully turn the saw blade (6) in the running direction: It
must be precisely centred and must not "wobble". Check
that the saw blade (6) and outer saw blade flange (6d)
are sitting correctly and align the parts once more, if the
saw blade is not precisely centred.

open-ended spanner 22 mm (6a) and turn the fixing nut
(6f) tight in a clockwise direction with the open-ended
spanner 22 mm (6b).
7. Mount the table inlay (7) and the saw blade guard (4)
(see 9.3.3 and 9.5.1).
8. Check the correct setting of the riving knife (see 9.3.2).

cables used must also comply with these regula-
tions.
17.1 Damaged electrical connection cable
The insulation on electrical connection cables is often dam-
aged.
This may have the following causes:
• Pressure points, where connection cables are passed through
windows or doors
• Kinks where the connection cable has been improperly fas-
tened or routed
• Places where the connection cables have been cut due to
being driven over
• Insulation damage due to being ripped out of the wall outlet
• Cracks due to the insulation ageing
Such damaged electrical connection cables must not be used
and are life-threatening due to the insulation damage.
Check the electrical connection cables for damage regularly.
Ensure that the connection cables are disconnected from elec-
trical power when checking for damage.
Electrical connection cables must comply with the applicable
VDE and DIN provisions. Only use connection cables of the
same designation.
The printing of the type designation on the connection cable
is mandatory.
Connections and repair work on the electrical equipment may
only be carried out by electricians.
17.2 AC motor
• The mains voltage must be 220–240 V∼.
• Extension cables up to 25 m long must have a cross-section
of 1.5 mm².
• Extension cables over 25 m long must have a cross-section
of 2.5 mm².
Connections and repair work on the electrical equipment may
only be carried out by electricians.
