SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES
• Do not open the battery – risk of short
circuiting.
• Keep batteries away from water, moisture
and sources of heat such as direct sunlight
– risk of explosion.
• The battery can emit fumes when used
incorrectly or if damaged.
• Such fumes can irritate the respiratory
system. Breathe in fresh air. Seek medical
attention if the complaint persists.
• Under certain conditions, acid can leak
from the battery. Avoid contact with
battery fluid. On contact with battery fluid,
rinse immediately with plenty of fresh
water. Seek medical attention if you get
battery fluid in your eyes. Battery fluid can
cause skin irritation and/or burns.
• Only use batteries of the type
recommended by the manufacturer, with
the voltage specified on the type plate on
the power tool. The use of other batteries
can result in a risk of fire, explosion,
personal injury and/or material damage.
• The battery voltage must correspond to
the charging voltage, otherwise there is a
risk of fire and/or explosion.
• Only charge the battery with the charger
recommended by the manufacturer.
Charging other batteries can result in a
risk of personal injury and/or fire.
• Never attempt to open the battery. Keep
the battery away from sharp objects and
metal objects, and do not subject it to
knocks or blows – risk of short-circuiting,
fire, explosion and/or personal injury.
• If the battery is hot after use, allow it to
cool before charging. The battery has a
safety function that prevents charging/
discharging at high temperatures. When
the battery has cooled it will function as
usual.
WARNING!
The product produces an electromagnetic
field when in use. This field can in some
circumstances affect active or passive medical
implants. If you have a medical implant
you should consult your doctor and/or the
manufacturer of the medical implant before
using the product to reduce the risk of serious
or fatal personal injury.

packaging material or the product. Do not
allow children to play with plastic bags, foil
