If necessary, cement the polyaxial screw XL with an Aesculap
cement suitable for screw augmentation.

Always follow the safety advice for the Aesculap cement ap-
plication system.
WARNING
Risk of injury from cement leakages!

Never prepare and position the implants
without the aid of imaging processes.
!
Make certain that the slits of the
polyaxial screw XL are fully seated in
the bone.
!
Do not penetrate the opposite corticalis,
and verify that the opposite corticalis is
not damaged (e.g. by a previously in-
stalled, longer screw).
!
Do not cement the polyaxial screw XL in
a fractured or partly resected vertebral
body. Carry out preoperative thin-sec-
tion CT control.
!
Apply cement only under high-quality
radiographic control. Max. amount of
cement per polyaxial screw XL: 2 ml.
