CAUTION
Risk of injury due to missing guards
Missing guards can lead to injury.
a) Before switching on the device, install all
guards that may have been removed for trou-
bleshooting.
b) Check all the safety devices before switching
on the device.
Attention
Damage to device from insufficient mainte-
nance
Insufficient maintenance leads to excessive wear
and expensive repairs.
a) Carry out the necessary maintenance work in
accordance with the manufacturer's instruc-
tions.
b) In the event of damage to mechanical parts,
switch off the device without delay and arrange
for professional repair with original spare parts.

Performing regular maintenance
Regular maintenance is part of proper use and in-
dispensable for safe and efficient operation.

Checking and cleaning device

The maintenance intervals depend on the utilisation
of the device and ambient conditions (dust, air hu-
midity, water hardness, etc.) and therefore need to
be determined by the device owner.
Check and clean the device regularly, at least once
a year.
NOTICE
Suitable cleaning products
Suitable cleaning products for your device are
available from your dealer or directly from HEYLO.
– Clean the device with a damp cloth. Make sure
that the electrical system of the device does not
come into contact with water.
– The electrical system must be checked regularly
for signs of damage.
– After completion of the maintenance work, set-
tings that have been changed for maintenance
purposes need to be reset to the settings for op-
eration.

Switching device off
To clean and check the device, switch it off as fol-
lows:
a) Set the device switch to position [0] and discon-
nect the power plug.
b) Let the device cool down.
Cleaning device housing
a) Clean the housing with a damp, lint-free cloth
and a mild detergent.
CAUTION! Never use a hose or high-pressure
cleaner.
The original gloss can be restored with polish.
Checking device and testing functions
a) Regularly check and test all functions of the de-
vice:
– Check the expansion vessel for damage and
leakage.
– Check whether there are error messages on the
display.
If there is an error message, eliminate the cause
of the problem (see Malfunctions during opera-
tion [ 32]).
– Check all the electrical components of the device
for visible damage, loose contacts and contami-
nation. To do this, remove the guard in order to
inspect the internal wiring. Remove dirt with a
lint-free cloth and replace any defective or dam-
aged components.
– If used commercially in Germany: An annual
DGUV V3 inspection in accordance with German
Statutory Accident Insurance (DGUV) rules must
be carried out and documented.
