Restarting after an unscheduled
downtime
Power failure
After a power failure, the device remains switched
on.

Malfunctions during operation

To identify and eliminate problems, refer to the trou-
bleshooting table below:

No connection to power source

– Check the power cable and the
mains connection.
– Contact the HEYLO service de-
partment.
Heating element defective
Contact the HEYLO service depart-
ment.
Incorrect device position
Place the device in an upright posi-
tion on a level surface.

Cleaning and
maintenance
For cleaning and maintenance, observe the follow-
ing general safety rules:
– All work must be carried out by trained and au-
thorised technicians.
a) Switch off the device before starting work and
disconnect the power plug.
b) Let the device cool down.
c) Wear suitable personal protective equipment.
d) Before restarting the device, install all safety
devices as attached at the factory.
e) Check that the safety devices are working
properly.
f) After completion of the work, remove all tools
and objects from the working area around the
device.
DANGER
Danger to life due to electric shock
Touching electrically live parts can be fatal.
a) Switch off the device and pull out the mains
plug.

CAUTION
Risk of injury from burns on hot surfaces
During operation, the protective grille might become
hot, causing burns.
a) Before starting work on the device, let it cool
down.
b) Wear protective gloves.

Checking and cleaning the device

The cleaning intervals for the device depend on the
actual operating conditions. Check and clean the
device regularly.
NOTICE
Suitable cleaning products
Suitable cleaning products for your device are
available from your dealer or directly from HEYLO.
– Depending on where the device is used, dust
and dirt can affect the performance of the de-
vice. The intervals between cleaning may need
to be reduced.
– The electrical system must be checked regularly
for signs of damage.
Switching device off
a) Switch off the device with the device switches.
 Let the device cool down.
Cleaning device
a) Clean the device with compressed air, a vacu-
um cleaner or with a damp cloth.
CAUTION! Never clean the device with a
high-pressure cleaner.
b) Clean the electrical components with com-
pressed air.
CAUTION! Electrical components must never
come into contact with water or chemical
cleaning agents.
c) Wait until all the components that have been
wiped are dry.
 The device is cleaned.

Wear and spare parts

Spare parts must meet the technical requirements
specified by HEYLO. HEYLO original spare parts
must meet stringent requirements.
HEYLO assumes no warranty for damage caused by
the use of spare parts from other manufacturers.
