5. Fault finding and correction

FAULT
Unit does not start up
Unit is heating;
ventilator is not
operational
If the device is supplied with power by power cable, the work on the electric
system may be carried out by specialist electricians or electrically trained staff in
keeping with VBG 4 only.
Please only get repair work to the electrical appliance done by HEYLO service partners.
Decommissioning and disposal of the unit
The unit has been designed for many years of operation.
If it has to be disposed of, the competent legal regulations have to be observed in
environmentally-gentle manner.

REMOVAL
Check up to which point there is
power. Remove defect.
Wait until power comes back again.
Check safeguards.
The unit has been overheated.
Repair source of error and the
appliance will switch itself on again
after waiting for a while.
Clean the heating coil (with
compressed air potentially),
otherwise send in for repair.
Appliance could have come into
contact with moisture. If yes, let it
dry thoroughly before operating it.
