12. If the child car seat is damaged,
deformed or worn out, it must be
replaced: it may no longer comply
with the original safety standards.
13. This product must not be modi-
fied in any way, unless the modi-
fication is approved by the manu-
facturer.
14. Do not install accessories, spare
parts or components not supplied
or approved by the manufacturer.
15. Never leave your child unat-
tended in the child car seat for
any reason.
16. To avoid the risk that the child
may fall, secure the child to the
child car seat also when carrying
the child car seat by hand.
17. When it is not used in the car, it is
dangerous to place the child car
seat onto raised surfaces.
18. Never leave the child car seat un-
secured in the car seat, it may hurt
or injure the passengers.
19. Do not insert anything between
the car seat and the child car seat,
or between the child car seat and
the child, unless it is an accessory
approved by the manufacturer: in
case of accident the child car seat
may not operate correctly.
20. In case the car is left under direct
sunlight, it is recommended to
cover the child car seat.
21. An accident, even a minor inci-
dent, may cause damages to the
child car seat, which are not vis-
ible to the naked eye: it is there-
fore necessary to replace the child
car seat.
22. Before carrying the child car seat
by hand, ensure that the child is
fastened with the safety harness,
and that the handle is correctly
locked in a vertical position.
23. This child car seat can be used
only with CHICCO strollers featur-
ing the CLIK CLAK system. Always
check the type of hooks the stroll-
er is equipped with in the instruc-
tions booklet, and whether they
fit the child car seat.
24. Ensure that the child car seat is fit-
ted correctly on the stroller before
placing the child in it.
25. DO NOT use the product for more
than 5 years. After this period,
alterations of the materials (e.g.,
due to exposure to sunlight) may
reduce or compromise the prod-
uct's effectiveness.
26. Do not use second-hand child
car seats: they may have suffered
structural damages not visible to
the naked eye, which could com-
promise the safety of the product.
27. Artsana declines all responsibility
for any inappropriate use of the
product.
28. The fabric cover can be replaced
only with another fabric cover
approved by the manufacturer,
because it is an integral part of the
child car seat. The child car seat
must never be used without the
fabric cover.
29. Check that the safety harness
strap is not twisted to avoid that
the strap or any parts of the child
car seat remain trapped between
the car doors, or rub against cut-
ting edges. If the safety harness is
cut or frayed, it must be replaced.
30. Do not transport loose or unse-
cured objects or baggage on the
back shelf of the vehicle: in the
event of an accident or sudden
braking, they may injure the pas-
sengers.
31. Ensure that all the car passengers
fasten their seat belt, for their own
