MAINTENANCE

8.1 Replacement of the I/O module
NOTE!
▶ Maintenance may be carried out only by trained technicians and
with the appropriate tools!
I/O modules can be replaced during operation (hot plug).
Remove cables from sensors and actuators.
→ Press push-in contacts of the terminal block and pull out wires.

Remove I/O module from the backplane.
→ Press on the blue squares until the lock is released and remove the
terminal block.
→ Press upper and lower unlocking device towards center of device
and remove I/O module from the backplane.
