The bottom part is designed as an oil- and waterproof collection pan. The oil mist separation
is performed by a multi-stage electrostatic high-performance system that includes an
agglomeration unit and a patented RXZ basic element. This means that aerosols and
liquid particles are mechanically pre-separated by the patented X-Cyclone basic element
type RXZ*. Aerosols and particles that are smaller than 1 mm are separated in additional
electrostatic filter stages by two collectors.

The separators made by Rentschler Reven – Lüftungssysteme GmbH separate
and filter particles of any size down to 0.01 mm with a very high degree of efficiency
(oil and emulsion mists).
