Assembling the stand
5 Put the middle brace (17) through the dedicated
opening of the rear brace (18).
6 Make sure that the middle brace slightly projects
(approx. 6 cm). To fix the braces tighten the hexagon
screw (M10x25) hand-tight.
7 Then, put the wheels (12) on the axle of the rear
brace (18) on both sides.
8 Secure the wheels (12) using the circlips.
9 Put on the hubcaps (13) on both sides.
10 Put the middle brace (17) in the dedicated opening of
the front leg (16).
11 Tighten the hexagon screw (M10x25) hand-tight to fix
the braces.
12 The stand is now assembled.
Assembling the firewood splitter on the stand
13 A second person must hold the firewood splitter on its
carrying handle (5) in vertical position. Remove the
hexagon screws (M8x25) of the foot (9).
14 Remove the foot (9).
15 Place the firewood splitter on the ground again and
put the rear legs (19) on the axle of the firewood
splitter.
16 Together with the second person lift the firewood
splitter along with the rear legs (19) and put it onto the
stand.
17 Put the rear legs (19) in the dedicated openings of the
rear brace (18). Make also sure that the firewood
splitter safely rests on the front leg (16).
18 On both sides, put the hexagon screw (M8x25)
though the hole in the rear legs (19) and tighten them
hand-tight.
19 On both sides, put the hexagon screws (M8x25)
through the holes in the front leg (16). Also tighten
both hexagon screws (M8x25) hand-tight at first.
20 Screw the hexagon screws (M10x25) in the rear
brace (18) on the left and right side and tighten them
hand-tight.
21 If the stand is not orthogonal, loosen the middle
hexagon screw (M10x25) of the rear brace (18), align
the stand and retighten the hexagon socket screw
(M10x25).
22 Firmly tighten all hexagon socket screws (M10x25).
23 24 Firmly tighten all hexagon screws (M8x25).
25 Loosen the hexagon socket screws (M6x15) and
remove the carrying handle (5).
26 Secure the carrying handle (5) on the front leg (16)
using the delivered hexagon socket screws (M6x50).
27 Now, the firewood splitter is completely assembled on
its stand.

If you use the log splitter without frame, position the log splitter
on a work surface at a height of about 60 – 75 cm, this will
create an comfortable working position.
Place chocks under the wheels to prevent the machine rolling
during operation.
Ensure that the working area meets the following conditions:
− no danger of slipping
− level
− free of obstacles
− sufficiently well lit
Do not operate the machine in the direct vicinity of gas or
petrol pipes or containers, or any other easily inflammable
materials.

Check that the machine is completely and correctly
assembled.
Before using the shredder, make sure each time that
there are no faulty connections (tears, cuts, etc.)

there are no damage at the machine

all screws are tight
−
check the hydraulic system for any possible leaks

Mains connection

Compare the voltage given on the machine model plate
e.g. 230 V with the mains voltage and connect the
machine to the relevant and properly earthed plug.
Only use connection cables with sufficient diameters.
Connect the machine via a 30 mA fault current safety
switch.
Fuse protection: 10 A
