Cleaning
Before cleaning the extraction hood, disconnect the mains plug. If it is

inaccessible, isolate the power at the main fuse.
Grease deposits on the extraction hood can ignite at extreme heat.
Therefore, it is important that the surface of the extraction hood is
regularly cleaned, externally and internally.
Use a soft, moist cloth with a little washing-up liquid to wipe the surfaces. The
glass can be cleaned using commercial glass cleaner. Do not use sharp objects or
scouring powder, because the surfaces will become scratched.
Cleaning the grease filter
(extraction and circulating air mode)

Therefore, it is important that the grease filter is regularly cleaned/
replaced.
• Clean the metal grease filter once a month – or more often, if necessary – in
dish-washer (max. 65 °C) or with warm detergent.
• Insert grease filter only after thorough drying.
• Handle the grease filter carefully, so that the fine mesh does not bend or kink.
1. Disconnect the mains plug or isolate at the appropriate main fuse.
2. Open the glass panel of the extracting hood.
3. Unlock grease filter and carefully remove grease filter.
