After transport, the appliance should be left standing upright for about 4 hours before connecting to the power
supply. Nonobservance could lead to malfunction of the cooling system and causes an appliance breakdown.
Clean the interior of the appliance including all accessory parts located inside. Consider the instructions which
we provide in the chapter "Cleaning".

• Connect the appliance to the power supply.

(1) SUPER FREEZE indicates the activation of the super freeze function.
(2) The internal temperature will be selected by the display. While the temperature dialing the temperature
value is flashing. A few seconds after the last button is pressed the setting is stored and displayed.

(4) Use these buttons to set the temperature. With the button [+ + + + ] the temperature is getting warmer, with the
button [- - - - ] colder.
(5) SUPER FREEZE button to switch on and off the super freeze function.
(6) ALARM/M button to switch off the audible warning signals.

You can dial the temperature value from -15°C to -24°C with the buttons [+ + + + ] and [- - - - ].
Keep in mind that the temperature will change depending on the ambient temperature (of the location), the
frequency of door opening and the amount of food in the appliance.
During initial operation, turn the lowest possible temperature level first or choose the super freeze function,
until the appliance has reached the desired operating temperature. Afterwards it is recommended to turn the
temperature back to a medium setting; correcting the temperature at a later point would then be easier.

During activation of the super freeze function the unit operates at maximum cooling performance in order to
speed up the freezing process. The control lamp SUPER FREEZE lights. After about 26 hours the function
