 Remove the hinge cover and the opposite blind
cap and disassemble the upper door hinge.
 Lift out the appliance door; remove the door stop-
per on the bottom side of the door and install the
enclosed door stopper on the corresponding other
bottom side of the door.
 Move the blind plug on the top of the door and
place the door safely aside.
 Tilt the appliance back slightly and secure it in this
position. Unscrew the feet and disassemble the
lower door hinge.
 Transfer and attach the lower door hinge to the
opposite side of the appliance; after unscrewing
the hinge pin and inserting it from the other hinge
side. Screw in the feet accordingly.
 Place the appliance back in the upright position.
Put on the appliance door and fix it in the intend-
ed position.
 Transfer and fix the upper door hinge to the op-
posite side of the appliance.
 Replace the blind cap and hinge cover removed
at the beginning.
 Check the door rubber seal for tight fit and adjust
it to the correct position if necessary.
Check that the door is aligned vertically and horizon-
tally to ensure proper opening and closing of the
door.

Startup / Operation

Prior to first use
CAUTION:
After transport, the appliance should be left standing
upright for four hours before connecting to the power
supply. Nonobservance could lead to malfunction of
the cooling system and causes an appliance break-
down.
Clean the appliance interior including all accessory
parts. Consider the instructions which we provide in
"Cleaning and Maintenance"
the chapter
Control panel / Function description
Temperature setting
Press the SET button several times to set the desired
temperature in the range from -14°C to -22°C. The
recommended operating temperature is -18°C.
The corresponding indicator light flashes.
↪ -14°C → -16°C → -18°C → -20°C → -22°C ↩
Approx. 5 seconds after the last button press,
the setting is saved.
Super freezing function
Keep pressing the SET button for approx. 3 seconds
to activate / deactivate the super freezing function.
The control light
When the super freezing function is activated, the
appliance operates at maximum power to speed up
the freezing process.
The super freezing function switches off automatical-
ly after approx. 50 hours. The internal temperature
adjusts to the preset temperature.
The function can be terminated at any time before
the switch-off time has elapsed.
Alarm function
The appliance is equipped with a warning system to
prevent the temperature from rising unnoticed and to
prevent energy loss when the appliance door is
open.
