Target value training (TARGET)
TARGET training mode lets you set a target value for a selected function.
1. Press the UP button until the display shows the TARGET training mode.
2. Press the MODE button again to confirm the selected mode.
3. A beep sounds. The time target value flashes.
4. Press the MODE button to toggle to the next function.
5. After selecting a function, the display shows SET and the target value flashes.
6. Press the UP button to increase the target value for: Time (TIME), distance
(DISTANCE), strokes (STROKES), heart rate (PULSE), or calories (CALORIE).
7. Press the MODE button to confirm the setting.
8. Press the START button to confirm the setting and begin training.
9. Once you hit your target value, the display shows STOP. A beep sounds 3 times.
10. Press the START/STOP button and then RESET to stop training early. The product
then enters standby mode.
11. Press MODE to select a new training program.
Recovery mode (RECOVERY)
Recovery mode lets you check your recovery heart rate after a training product.
1. The computer (F) features a built-in receptor for a heart rate sensor suitable for all
common 5.3 kHz chest straps (chest strap not included).
2. Continue wearing the chest strap after training and press the RECOVERY button.
3. The display shows a countdown of 60 seconds.
4. After the countdown runs down, the display shows a status: F1 to F6. F1 is
"excellent", F6 is "poor".
5. Press the RECOVERY button again return to the main menu.

Standby mode

• In standby mode, the following values flash on the display: MANUAL, INTERVAL,
TARGET, TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIE, PULSE, SPM, WATT, TIME/500M,
STROKES.
